labor & employment
Employment law governs the rights and duties between employers and workers. These rules are primarily designed to keep workers safe and make sure they are treated fairly, although laws are in place to protect employers’ interests as well. Before and during law school, our attorneys were employed in professional jobs and we therefore have a keen insight into managing relationships between employers and employees.
At Morrison / Lee we both help employees who are not treated fairly and help employers design methods to manage their staff. We represent management interests in connection with: creating employee handbooks, terms of services, hiring and termination, management, and draft necessary non-disclosure and non-compete agreements.
We represent employees to make sure they are being treated fairly and given the appropriate credit for any work that they may have created. We ensure your employer’s compliance with the law and determine how to best protect you from the wrongful acts of your employer.
